Academic Associations

  1. Botany Association

    All the degree and postgraduate students in Botany are the members of the Association. Its objectives are to foster and encourage an attitude of curiosity, appreciation and enquiry of life forms and also to inculcate the concept of conservation of the biosphere. Debates, discussion and seminars are some of the regular activities of the association. The association also conduct educational tours for the in situ study of the plants.
  2. Chemistry Association

    The Chemistry Association has been functioning in the college for the last twelve years. All the students of Chemistry are members of the association. Tours, seminars and project works are undertaken by the association.
  3. Mathematics Association

    The Mathematics association started functioning in 2000 with the purpose of serving the students of our college in different ways. The association organizes seminars and programmes for updating the information level of the students. It brings out an yearly manuscript namely ‘Ganitha Jalakom’.
  4. Physics Association

    All the undergraduate and postgraduate students of Physics are members of the association. The objective of the association is to create awareness among students about the latest developments in Physics. Seminars, workshops, study classes, study tours, quiz competitions and many other programmes are conducted under its banner.
  5. History Association

    All the degree students of History are members of this association. Its objective is to create awareness among students about the historical developments in the world and analyse them with a historical sense. Debates, discussion and seminars are some of the regular activities of the Association.
  6. Commerce Association

    All the undergraduate and postgraduate students are members of the Association. Its objective is to promote awareness among the students about the recent developments in business, industry and co-operative sector. Debates, discussions, seminars, competitions, study tours and visit to industries are the major activities of the Association.
  7. Economics Association

    All the degree students of Economics are members of this association. Its objective is to create awareness regarding the application of economic theories in the larger socio economic context of the real world and to scrutinise the economic developments with a critical eye. Debates, discussions and seminars are some of the regular activities of the Association.
THE OTHER ASSOCIATIONS
  1. Athletic Association

    The association functions under the guidance of the department of Physical Education. It takes care of physical education of the student which includes training in sports and games and giving formal physical exercise. It also gives coaching in various events and liaisons the participation in various inter-collegiate competitions. All the students of the college shall be the ordinary members and the staff shall be the honorary members of the BAM College Athletic Association. It conducts the college Annual Sports Meet. It also conducts various individual and teamwise competitions.
